AFC Rushden & Diamonds Ladies slipped to their first league defeat of the season at Bozeat Playing Field on Sunday afternoon. Two goals from Megan Watkins were not enough to prevent a 3-2 defeat, but the Diamonds Ladies remain at the top of the Northamptonshire Women’s Football League Division 2, as their nearest rivals Billing Ladies also dropped three points.
