AFC Rushden & Diamonds / MAA youths defeated top of the table Lincoln this afternoon after a 3-1 victory at the Malcolm Arnold Academy.
Luke Garner got on the score sheet for his seventh goal of the season, Ieuan Ivett and Nathan Weeks completed the scoring for Purse’s side.
Diamonds move up to fourth in the table, three points off joint pacesetters; Lincoln, Thomas Beckett and Tresham. However the MAA boys have three games in hand over Lincoln, and two over Thomas Beckett and Tresham.
The academy boys face Manor Sports College on Wednesday 17th, their last game in 2014.
