AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Northampton Town (NFA Maunsell Cup) – Tuesday 30th July

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will face Northampton Town on Tuesday evening at Hayden Rd (KO 7:45pm) in the next game of their Pre-Season campaign. This game is the NFA Maunsell Cup Final.

Admission Prices for this game are £8 adults / £6 concessions.

There is a combined matchday programme for the preseason games at Hayden Road.

AFC R&D will play in the new 3rd kit

The Hillier Cup will be presented to the Club before kick off.

For this game, we will trial switching the bars around so supporters will have the Oak Room and the bar will become the Board room, Supporters should enter the ground via the normal turnstiles and access the Oak room via the back door at the Birch Road end of the ground. Toilet access will not be affected nor will access to the Burger Monster although supporters should follow the signage around the ground taking note of any ‘no entry’ signs.

As a regulated match, no alcohol will be permitted outside of the bar areas.

If the score is level at the end of 90 minutes, it will go straight to penalties.

The Maunsell Cup will be presented at the end of the game.

The match will be played at Hayden Rd, Rushden NN10 0HX – see here for a map of the ground and local area. The ground itself is best accessed from the west. Take the A6 Rushden and Higham bypass, and exit at the junction with Newton Road. Follow the road past the cemetery, and take the sharp right hand turn immediately after the Risdene Academy onto Hayden Road. The ground is approximately a quarter of a mile on the left.
