Since the foundation of AFC Rushden & Diamonds in 2011, the club has been proud to carry on the tradition of having a club chaplain, started at Rushden & Diamonds FC, following initiatives at the original clubs.

Chaplaincy in sport is primarily about offering pastoral care and support to everyone who is part of the club: players, staff, fans and volunteers.

Because AFC Rushden & Diamonds is large, both in numbers and in the places where we are active, there is now too much for one chaplain to cover; so having a team approach will hopefully be an improvement. Making up this team are Zena Gregory, Rev Alan Jenkins, Doug Palmer, Bruce Greenberg and Lead Chaplain Canon Roger Knight. (Please click on the links to identify the team members)

Details of the approach of this team, and their chaplaincy expectations, can be found in this document - Chaplaincy Expectations

By all means speak to any member of the team but contact Roger Knight first (rogerknight41@outlook.com or 07790674537) for more information or specific requests.
