AFC Rushden & Diamonds are looking for a number of volunteers and/or paid staff across the whole club, details are listed below.
Whether you are seeking to enhance your own skills or looking to volunteer for a local community organisation there will be a position for you to make a difference and help the club move forward.

Bar Staff – Can you spare some time to serve in the bar as a volunteer, either between 2pm and 3.10pm, 5 minutes either side of half-time, or for an hour after the match. Even if you can only spare one fixture a season that will help us spread the load. There may also be an opportunity for a bar manager.
Commercial Committee Volunteer – To assist the Commercial Director with all aspects of commercial activities, including sales and marketing of the club to members, supporters, the community and local business. This position is voluntary and includes a place on the Commercial Committee, which meets regularly.
Community Team Coaches – The club has a range of Community Teams and additional coaches are always welcome. Subject to DBS clearance the Club can assist with the cost of the Level 1 coaching course, which is mandatory for all coaches.
Matchday Coordinator – To assist Chas with all aspects of matchday organization including staff planning and organisation. This position is voluntary.
First Aiders – Do you hold a current first aid certificate?, would you be interested in being on call during a matchday, alternatively if you are interested in being trained as a first aider we can help with the course.
Catering Staff – A paid position to assist with the current catering team, a food hygiene certificate is preferred though not essential as training can be provided.
U21 +18 Team Co-Coordinator – One person or two separate volunteers to form part of the backroom staff for the U21s and U18 teams, organising kit and logistics to keep the teams running smoothly.
Ground assistants – To assist with the repairing of divots at half time and after each fixture on a voluntary basis.
Stadium clean up operatives – We are looking for volunteers to assist in the cleaning of the stadium after each fixture, the more volunteers the less matches will be required.
Ball Collectors – We urgently need some volunteers to collect the balls on a matchday when they are cleared from the ground.
Club Shop Manager – Are you interested in running the club shop as a volunteer, we are looking for a forward thinking individual to take the club shop forward and implement the computerisation process, to work with the current volunteers.
Assistant Welfare Officer – To assist current welfare officer with tasks including attending some academy and community teams training sessions organizing CRB’s and looking after mascots on matchdays.
Matchday Qualified Stewards – We are seeking a number of qualified stewards to work on a matchday, these positions will be paid and would require the relevant qualifications or the willingness to become qualified. Experience will also be considered.
Matchday Assistant Stewards – We are looking for volunteers to assist paid stewards on a matchday basis, the more volunteers we have the less each one has to do, so please put your name down even if it for a couple of fixtures per season.
Programme Sellers – Volunteers needed to asset the current programme seller around the ground during a matchday.
Video Editor– We are currently looking for a volunteer to take on the video editing for AFCRDTV, this will involve either filming or taking the footage and editing into a highlights package and be uploaded to the Youtube page and website.
U18 & U21 match reporter – We are looking for someone to write match reports for the Under 18 and Under 21 teams for the website, preferably on a home and away basis although Home assistance would be helpful. Entrance to all matches will be free of charge for this volunteer.
