AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce Neil Champelovier as first team head coach to work alongside the current manager Andy Peaks.

Former midfielder Champelovier played for Northampton Town, Brackley Town, Banbury Utd, Oxford City, Aylesbury Utd, Daventry Town and Woodford Utd. He is aged 36.

Neil has management experience with assistant manager roles at Cogenhoe Utd and two spells at Daventry Town – and so will have worked with several of the current Diamonds squad in the past.

Manager Andy Peaks said “I have been speaking with Neil for the past few weeks, he has come and watched some of our pre season games and has some great ideas, I am sure he will be able to take on the great work that Lamby did on the training pitch and I look forward to working with him for the season ahead.”
