The AFC Rushden & Diamonds Fundraising Team of Glenis Haynes, Judith Coton, Jane Dexter, Kay Gillespie, Pam Longstaff, together with helper Ellie Lee handed over a cheque for £700 to Cransley Hospice at one of the ever-popular Quiz Nights. This was the proceeds of the Bucket collections which are held at the end of the Quiz Nights in memory of Ken Dobbs who previously ran the Quizzes. He was a patient at the Hospice until he sadly lost his fight with Cancer.

The photo shows Pam Humphrey who is one of the volunteers from Cransley Hospice accepting the cheque on their behalf.

Once again may we offer a huge sincere thanks to the fans and also the people in the Community who support these Quizzes every month, raising much needed funds for both AFC Rushden and Diamonds and Cransley Hospice.

The last quiz of the current “season” is on Thursday 4th July – details here, where you will also find the dates for the next season of Quizzes which starts in September.
