The AFC Rushden & Diamonds Fury under 11`s community football team have unveiled a Fundraising initiative to raise funds for team equipment as well as supporting the Free Kicks Foundation. The Free Kicks Foundation raise money to give deserving children and adults days out at football.

The Fundraising is centred around the team’s plans to take part in SCI football tour in Great Yarmouth on the 3rd of May 2019.

Two of the players’ Dads (Darren Johnson & Christian Vann) have volunteered to cycle the 130 miles to raise funds, which will be split between the Furys U11 Team and the Free Kicks Foundation. It will help towards football equipment, training wear and anything else football related for the Furys, and donate funds to the Free Kicks Foundation which aims to provide football related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children to give them a day to remember with their favourite football club.

Mark Gibbs has set up a JustGiving site for donations here, and hope they can raise plenty of funds to benefit all the children involved.
