AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their second away league game of the 2017-18 campaign in the EVO-STIK League South, East when they visit Kempston Rovers on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon (KO 3pm) – 28th August.
The game is being played at Hillgrounds Stadium, Hillgrounds Road, Kempston, Bedfordshire MK42 8SZ – see here for directions from Rushden.
The club is not running a coach for this fixture.
There is a newly resurfaced parking area at the ground as well as a nearby parking area for those using the other facilities in the area. There is a large clubhouse bar, as well as covered seating and standing on one side of the ground.
Access via public transport is typically using Bus 50 from Rushden Lakes / Rushden to Bedford. Operated by Stagecoach. Hourly service operating until 7pm – details here – interlinking with Service 49 to Kettering – details here. From Bedford bus station you can then take Bus 53 which takes the Hillgrounds Road loop – details here. Please check any service amendments for a Bank Holiday.
Bedford rail station is a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station.
