AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their 250th senior game on Saturday afternoon as they travel to North Shropshire to face Market Drayton Town  in the Northern Premier League First Division South (KO 3pm)

Market Drayton Town play at Greenfields Sports Ground, Greenfield Lane, Market Drayton  TF9 3SL Please note that the normal parking area is shared with a local Rugby club, who are also playing on Saturday. To avoid any issues the club have arranged access to further parking on the premises of Stevens Bodyworks Company – who are situated on the left as you turn onto Greenfields Lane – allowing the parking areas at the front of that business to be used as an emergency overflow car park, from 1:15pm onwards. The only ‘caveat’ is that whoever parks in this area should ensure they keep clear of the doors to the facility in case of an emergency.

Directions for the trip of around 110 miles can be found here. The club is running a coach to this fixture – details here. The ground is not readily accessible via public transport, the main option being a train to Stoke and then a 45 minute bus ride to the town followed by a walk to the ground – see here for door-to-door directions.
