Bio

Shawn Richards is a 27-year old wide midfielder who normally plays on the right wing and can also play in a more forward position. He first joined the club in December 2015, having previously been playing with Stamford at Step 3, He was the Daniels’ longest serving player when he left them, having been a member of the squad which won promotion into the Northern Premier League in 2012/13. His previous clubs include Northampton Town, Rugby Town, Soham Town, Quorn and Loughborough Dynamo. He moved up to higher level football when he joined Brackley Town prior to the start of the 2016/17 season, but rejoined the Diamonds in March 2017. After leaving prior to the start of the 2017/18 season he rejoined prior to the 2018/19 campaign.
