Our Opponents
1874 Northwich FC was founded in November 2012 by the members of a Supporters Trust that was formerly aligned to Northwich Victoria FC. With that latter club having undergone several seasons of upheaval, resulting in them having to move out of the area and play games in Stafford. The new club was named after the original foundation date of Northwich Victoria, and it will play home games in the North-West Counties league at the Barton Stadium, Winsford. This fixture was originally planned for that venue, but had to be switched to Widnes as the pitch at Barton Stadium was not ready at this stage of the growing season.
Their club website is here and their Twitter feed is here. They are currently managed by Ian Street. They play in Green Shirts, Black Shorts and White Socks.
