Senior Team 

For the 2019/20 Season, AFC Rushden & Diamonds played in the Southern League Premier Division Central at Step 3 of Non-League Football,  as well as the following cup competitions. 

  • Emirates FA Cup
  • Buildbase FA Trophy
  • Northants FA Hillier Senior Cup
  • Southern League Challenge Cup.

The Diamonds entered the Emirates FA Cup at the First Round Qualifying Stage, travelling to face Enfield Town on Saturday September 7th, exiting the competition at that stage
 
The Diamonds entered the Buildbase FA Trophy at the First Round Qualifying Stage where they hosted Banbury United who they defeated after a replay. They went out of the competition at South Shields in the Second Qualifying Round.
 
In the Southern League Challenge Cup AFC Rushden & Diamonds received a bye through to the First Round, so entered the competition on Tuesday 1st October with a home tie against Corby Town which they won 3-2. In the second round they defeated  Yaxley FC, but went out of the competition in the following round when they hosted Needham Market FC.
 
In the NFA Hillier Senior Cup the Diamonds received a bye through to the Second Round, where they lost to Brackley Town.

Junior Teams
 
In addition to the AFC R&D / MAA U18 setup there were two other U18 squads under the Academy umbrella in the past season: 

The AFC R&D / MAA U18s played in the Football Conference Youth Alliance and represented the Club in the FA and NFA Cup competitions.

The U21 Elite Squad played in the Midland Football League U21 setup.
