AFC Rushden & Diamonds Ladies moved one step closer to the league title with a 9-1 win over Rothwell Reserves in the Northants Women’s Football League Division 2 game at Bozeat Playing Field on Sunday. The goals came from Alexandra Bartlett, Kerry Lawrence, Jenna Looker (2), April Malin (2), Claire Stancliffe, Lauren Perkins and Cat Sealey.

If cup commitments do not affect the fixture list, the Diamonds Ladies will clinch the league title if they win their final game of the season against Corby Ladies & Girls on Sunday March 24th at Bozeat Playing Field.
