AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Bedford Town
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will be face opposition from the Southern League in the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup, when Bedford Town visit the Dog & Duck on Saturday. The Eagles play in the Southern League Division One Central, which is a Step 4 league, after having dropped down from the Southern League Premier at the end of last season.
The winners of the tie will travel to face Hendon in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round on the weekend of 13th September. This is an all-pay game. Entrances prices for this game are the normal cup tie £6 Adults, £3 Concessions (Over 60s, students, U16s) and £1 U8s.
Should scores be level after 90 minutes there will be a replay at The New Eyrie, Bedford on Tuesday 2nd September (KO 7:45pm).
N.B. As this is a game in an FA competition, the FA rules regarding alcohol must be observed, meaning that no alcohol can be consumed outside of the clubhouse, and to ensure this there will be no alcohol sales from 2:45pm until the game is finished – please help us by observing this rule.

Bedford Town play in the Southern League Division One Central after dropping down a level at the end of last season. They are managed by ex-Wellingborough Town manager Craig Adams.
Ex-R&DFC Youth Teamer Joe Hopewell is on the books of Bedford Town. The Eagles play in blue shirts and shorts.
