Our Opponents

Bourne Town were formed in 1883 and started out in the Peterborough & District League before joining the UCL for the first time in 1947, dropping out again in 1956. After a period in the Midland League they rejoined the UCL in the mid-sixties, winning the title three times shortly afterwards. In 2010 the Wakes were demoted to Division One of the UCL due to ground grading issues.

The Wakes are managed by Darren Munton. They play in Claret and Sky Blue and their current website is here. Since the two teams met towards the end of February they have signed two players from the UCL Premier – Dan Smith from Peterborough Northern Star and Jason Kilbride from Blackstones.
