Our Opponents

Burton Park Wanderers are based in Burton Latimer, near Kettering, having originally been formed as Kettering Park Wanderers in 1961, joining the UCL in 1968 and moving to Burton Latimer three years later.

Park Wanderers are managed by ex-R&DFC goalkeeper Kevin Fox, and last season Diamonds’ Jack Wizniewski played at Latimer Park, finishing as their top goalscorer with 20 goals in league and cup games. Their league form this season has been patchy, not helped by the fixture scheduling meaning that they have only played five games in the league. They hosted local rivals Thrapston Town last weekend in a game they lost 4-3, dropping them into the bottom two in the league.
