AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Leighton Town
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will host Leighton Town at the Dog & Duck on Tuesday evening.
Diamonds fans will be aware of the fire in the Dog & Duck clubhouse, which has meant that alternative arrangements have been made for certain facilities to ensure the match can go ahead as planned – see here for the latest detail.
There will be an opportunity to contribute towards the appeal that is supporting Jack Ashton after his recent operation – details here.
The Reds parted with their manager at the start of the month, are looking to move up the table – see here for the current league table.

Please note that there has been extensive remodelling of both the pedestrian and vehicular access to the ground over the summer – please follow designated routes. There is also continuing work in London Road which will also result in some local parking restrictions and pedestrian access alterations.

After formation in 1922, Leighton Town spent time in local leagues as well as a short spell in the Hellenic League. During the latter part of last century they spent time in the Isthmian League, before joining the Southern League in 2006.
Last season they finished in 18th place in Southern League Division One Central.

There is covered seating available, as well as two covered standing areas.
