AFC Rushden & Diamonds v London Colney

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their first ever home game in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening when they host London Colney in the Extra-Preliminary Round Replay. On Saturday the two teams battled out a 1-1 draw at Cotlandswick – details here.

London Colney play in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League which is a Step 5 league at the same level as the UCL Premier. Last season they defeated Hatfield Town at this stage before losing to Harefield United in the following round.

Should the tie be level after 90 minutes then extra time will be played, with a penalty shootout if the scores are still level after 120 minutes. The winner of the tie will travel to face Northwood on the weekend of 31st August.

This is an all-pay game. Pricing for this game has been confirmed as £6 Adults, £3 Concessions (Over 60s and students (with ID)) and £1 U16s.

N.B. As this is a game in an FA competition, the FA rules regarding alcohol must be observed, meaning that no alcohol can be consumed outside of the clubhouse, and to ensure this there will be no alcohol sales from 7:30pm until the game is finished – please help us by observing this rule. See here for more details.

Details of any issues with respect to the weather / pitch conditions etc will be here or on Twitter (@AFCRD). Those who may not have internet access in the build-up to a game may want to make note of the club contact phone number as detailed here.
