AFC Rushden & Diamonds v London Colney
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their first ever home game in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening when they host London Colney in the Extra-Preliminary Round Replay. On Saturday the two teams battled out a 1-1 draw at Cotlandswick – details here.
London Colney play in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League which is a Step 5 league at the same level as the UCL Premier. Last season they defeated Hatfield Town at this stage before losing to Harefield United in the following round.
Should the tie be level after 90 minutes then extra time will be played, with a penalty shootout if the scores are still level after 120 minutes. The winner of the tie will travel to face Northwood on the weekend of 31st August.
This is an all-pay game. Pricing for this game has been confirmed as £6 Adults, £3 Concessions (Over 60s and students (with ID)) and £1 U16s.
N.B. As this is a game in an FA competition, the FA rules regarding alcohol must be observed, meaning that no alcohol can be consumed outside of the clubhouse, and to ensure this there will be no alcohol sales from 7:30pm until the game is finished – please help us by observing this rule. Our Opponents
London Colney FC was founded in 1907, and moved to their present ground at Cotlandswick in 1976. After spending time in various Hertfordshire leagues they joined the South Midlands League in 1992, which in turn merged with the Spartan League in 1998/99 to become the Spartan South Midlands League. Last season they finished in 7th position in the SSM Premier, after gaining promotion the previous season.

In their two league games this season they drew 1-1 with Biggleswade United and lost 2-1 to Ampthill Town.
