AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Luton Town XI
For the second season running AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to welcome a Luton Town XI for a preseason game at the Dog & Duck. Ex-R&DFC Assistant manager Paul Driver is expected to bring a young Development Squad to the game as he did last season.
Last season saw the then Hatters manager Paul Buckle watching from the sidelines, but since that game John Still has taken charge at Kenilworth Road.
Admission prices for the Diamonds pre-season friendlies at the Dog & Duck are £4 adults and £2 Concessions.
Both Diamonds and Wellingborough Town volunteers have been working on various improvements to the Dog & Duck over the close season – for details see here.
