Our Opponents

Newport Pagnell Town FC was formed in 1963 as Newport Pagnell Wanderers as an alternative to the Aston Martin works team. They changed to their current name in 1972 as they moved to their Willen Road ground. They joined the UCL in 1973.

You can see more details on their history on their archived website here.

The Swans have had a mixed season but will end it in a respectable mid-table position, helped by a strong sequence of recent home victories prior to a heavy defeat by Wisbech Town last weekend. Back in September the two sides met at Willen Road, with two goals from Tom Lorraine helping the Diamonds to a 2-1 victory – report here. Their striker Dom Lawless has an outside chance of finishing top scorer in the UCL Premier, although he needs at least four goals in the final two games of the season to be in with a chance of at least sharing the award.

Their club colours are green and white hoops and the Swans are managed by Darren Lynch. Their website is here, and their twitter feed here.
