Our Opponents

Northampton Sileby Rangers FC was formed in 1968 as the works team of the Sileby Engineering Company, and after a period as a Sunday team joined the Northampton Town league before winning promotion to the UCL Division One in 1993. For a while they were known as Vanaid. Although they have won the UCL1 title several times, last season was their debut in the UCL Premier Division.

A number of ex-Diamonds are at Sileby, including Aynsley McDonald, Elliot Dent, Troy Johnston and Jake Gillingwater. They are managed by Daren Young.

A Fazel Koriya hat-trick helped the Diamonds to a 4-0 win in the corresponding fixture last season – report here.

The Rangers club website is here. They play in red and black.
