Our Opponents

Northampton Spencer FC was formed as Spencer School Old Boys in 1936. They joined the UCL Division 2 in 1968, moving to Kingsthorpe Mill in 1971. After progress in the UCL they won the UCL Premier title in 1992, but at the end of last season they took voluntary relegation back to UCL Division One.

The Millers do not appear to have a current club website.

They are currently managed by Ben Stone who won the October Manager of the Month award after his side won 3 games in the UCL as well as an FA Vase victory over Long Buckby. That good run continued into November as they extended their winning run to 7 games, 5 of them in the league, before their exit from the FA Vase. With the good form continuing they are now well placed to challenge for promotion back to the UCL Premier. There are several links between the two clubs, with Andy Peaks and Scott Carlin having been on the Millers management team with Quincy Shorunmu and Joe Merrill being regulars last season and at least four other Diamonds having been on the books at Kingsthorpe Mill at some point in their careers.

They play in Green and White.
