Our Opponents

Petersfield Town FC was founded in 1993 after Petersfield United closed down (because they weren’t granted permission to switch from the Isthmian 3rd Division to the Wessex League in 1992).

They won promotion to the Southern League at the end of the 2014-15 season. This is Petersfield’s second promotion in a row as they won the Wessex League Division One in 2013-14 before winning the Wessex League Premier in last season. You can find all the details from their title winning campaign on the Non-League Matters website here. They only lost two league games during that season, scoring 118 league goals.

Their best national cup run was the 1994-95 FA Vase where they reached the 2nd round.

They are known as the Rams and are managed by Ian Saunders. Their website is here, and their Twitter feed here. Their club colours are red and black.

The Dog and Duck

For directions to the Dog and Duck see here, where you will also find details of car parking options. You will find a range of bars and catering facilities, as well as a Club Shop. There is covered seating available, as well as two covered standing areas. You can see a stadium plan that maps out these facilities here, along with details of catering facilities (including a snack bar menu / prices with details of the famous Diamond Burger).

There is always a need for additional volunteers to help with ongoing maintenance and matchday work, as detailed here.
