Our Opponents

Stewarts & Lloyds Corby FC was formed in 1935 as the works team of Stewarts & Lloyds Iron & Steel Company, playing in the United Counties League as the premier team in Corby. The club was divided in 1948, during the formation of Corby Town FC, and it became an amateur club in the Kettering Amateur League, before joining the UCL again in 1957. After a few ups and downs they won the Premier Division title in 2008-09.

Their club website is here but they do not appear to have an active Twitter feed. Their home colours are white and black, but their change strip is all blue. They are managed by Kevin Byrne.

The Foundrymen have had a challenging season to date, but with this being the only UCL game on Tuesday they have a chance to make up ground on their nearest rivals. Before the weekend games they had lost seven games in a row, after defeating Wellingborough Town at Occupation Road in mid-October. Rather unusually they have already had two 4-4 draws this season.
