Ahead of the fixture between the sides on 29th September both clubs are actively encouraging all fans to get behind their team in what promises to be another great match. A local derby is a special occasion and we hope the game is remembered for the performances on the pitch and the positive support off it. Wellingborough Whitworth FC and AFC Rushden & Diamonds would like to jointly remind all supporters that any anti social behaviour will not be tolerated and any fans involved in such actions will be excluded from the stadium.
Additionally, AFC Rushden & Diamonds have recently been informed that Wellingborough Whitworth FC will be making a donation to the Dale Roberts Memorial Fund at Saturday’s match. We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to all at Wellingborough Whitworth FC for this wonderful gesture.
