The Society’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, 12th September 2024 at the Irthlingborough Town Band Club, 104 Victoria Street, Irthlingborough NN9 5RG (7:00 pm start).
The main purpose of the meeting is to receive the 2023/24 accounts, the reports of the Club Board and auditor, and the ratification of results of the elections to the Club Board.
The following document is the “Notice and Rules of Election” of up to FIVE new members to the Club Board who will take office at the Society’s AGM on Thursday, 12th September 2024.
Notice & Rules of Election – August 2024
Nikki Roberts has been appointed as this year’s Election Officer. Nikki lives locally and has been a supporter and volunteer for many years, helping to administer the lottery and assisting with Club secretarial duties.
The Election Officer’s email address can be found on the Nomination Form – August 2024 and all queries on the election process should be addressed to the Election Officer in the first instance.
Candidates must either be a fully paid-up adult or concession AFC Rushden & Diamonds 2023/24 Part Owner* as of 1:00 pm on Saturday, 10th August 2024 to stand for election, nominate another Part Owner for the election or vote in the election.
Any new adult or concession Part Owner joining after 1:00 pm on Saturday 10th August 2024 will not be eligible to stand, nominate or vote in the election.
* By resolution of the Board earlier this year 2023/24 Part Ownerships were extended until the 2024 AGM which will be held on 12th September 2024.
