Saturday 12th September 2015
Bedfont & Feltham FC v AFC Rushden & Diamonds
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will face Bedfont & Feltham in The Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round on Saturday. This will be the first time the Diamonds have faced a team from two leagues below them, but they will be aware of the perils of the FA Cup, having themselves inflicted defeat on a team two leagues higher in their first season in the competition.

For league games Bedfont & Feltham advise the following “We have adequate car parking at the club free of charge, once full there is local off street parking”. “There is a refreshment bar which is just inside the turnstiles this is open before kick off and then throughout the match.” “Hot and cold food is available along with Tea/Coffee and cold beverages.” Details of specific ground rules are here.
If the scores are level after 90 minutes the game will be replayed at the Dog & Duck on Tuesday 15th September (KO 7:45pm).

Our Opponents
Bedfont and Feltham FC was formed in May 2012 following the amalgamation of Feltham FC with Bedfont Football and Social Club – and they play at the latter’s ground “The Orchard” which is close to Heathrow Airport.
They play in the Combined Counties League Division One, which is a Step 6 League. In the previous round they defeated Step 5 AFC Hayes after a replay. In the extra-preliminary round they defeated London Tigers after a replay, winning on penalties after ending the game with nine men (playing for a 10 minute spell with only eight men). They won their first two league games alongside these FA Cup successes and with a local cup game last weekend, when they play the Diamonds they will have played 5 of their 7 games in Cup competitions this season.
They are known as the Yellows and are managed by Louis Carder-Walcott. Their website is here, and their Twitter feed here. They play in yellow and blue.
