Bedford Town v AFC Rushden & Diamonds – New Years Day

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will welcome in the New Year with their next away league game of the 2017-18 campaign in the EVO-STIK League South, East when they visit Bedford Town on Monday afternoon (1/1/18 – KO 3pm). With 10 wins in a row in all competitions, the Diamonds will be aiming to equal their current best winning-streak, as well as moving into 2018 in a similar vein of form as at the end of 2017.

The game is being played at Bedford Town FC, The Eyrie, Meadow Lane, Cardington, Beds. MK44 3LW. The Eyrie is on the outskirts of Bedford, towards Cardington, on the road from Bedford to Sandy – see here for a map and directions for the 17 mile trip from Rushden. Fans, players and officials have been reminded to not park in the nearby Bedford FC Car Park (even though they do not have a first team game scheduled for that date), making sure they use those areas allocated for Bedford Town games.

With this being a Bank Holiday game there is no reasonable public transport option.

The club is not running a coach for this fixture – details of coach travel are here.
