Belper Town v AFC Rushden & Diamonds – Tuesday 18th October

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will play their next game in the Northern Premier League First Division South on Tuesday evening when they travel to Derbyshire to face Belper Town FC (KO 7:45pm).

Belper is a town north of Derby, and their team play at Christchurch Meadow, Bridge Street, Belper, Derbyshire DE56 1BA. Directions on how to reach the ground are here. The club is running a shared coach for this fixture – details are here. Although the ground is conveniently placed for the rail station in Belper, public transport is not really an option for a midweek game. More information on access to the ground and a guide to visiting Christchurch Meadow can be found here. One paragraph of particular note is: “The ground is located on Bridge Street, Belper (Sat Nav Location – DE56 1BA). The Sat Nav actually takes you to the main road outside the ground but access to the ground is via the narrow lane at the side of Christ Church, and adjacent to the traffic lights opposite the imposing East Mill.”

Admission Prices: Adults – £9.00, Children & OAP – £5.00. Children Under 14 (Accompanied by Adult) – Free

Details on car parking are on the Nailers’ Website here – please note the instruction “There is limited car parking spaces inside the ground on match days. Spectators should arrive as early as possible to secure a ground parking space. Spaces will also be reserved inside the ground for vehicles displaying disabled badges and also for match sponsors. In any event, the main gates will be closed to vehicle traffic 60 minutes before kick-off. Additional car parking is available at Belper Meadows Sports Club adjacent to the ground. Also, there are a number of car parks close to the ground.”
