The game against Bugbrooke St Michaels originally on Wednesday 24th October 2012 was initially switched so that the Diamonds home game against Bugbrooke St Michaels would be played on that date, with the game at Bugbrooke to be scheduled for a Saturday in the New Year. A further change means the game now at the Dog & Duck will now be a day earlier – on Tuesday 23rd October 2012.
This decision was made by the United Counties League, following a request by Bugbrooke to reverse the fixture as their overflow parking facility will not be available for a midweek game. On safety concerns, backed by police advice, they requested the games be reversed so the Diamonds would visit their ground for an afternoon game in the New Year.
Therefore the fixture is:-
Tuesday 23rd October 2012 AFC Rushden & Diamonds v Bugbrooke St Michaels at the Dog & Duck, kick off 7:45.
The club would like to apologise to any fans inconvenienced by these changes.
