AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce that young right-back Callum Westwood has signed for the club. He joins on dual registration terms with Kettering Town, having previously been dual registered with the Poppies and Rugby Town. He played for Rugby in their recent game at the Dog & Duck. Before signing for the Poppies the 18-year-old defender was with the Northampton Town Youth Academy.
Subject to final confirmation from the league he will be available to join the Diamonds squad for the game against Loughborough Dynamo, along with another recent signing, Ollie Brown-Hill.
In other player news striker Jake Newman has signed dual registration terms with Northampton Sileby Rangers and is available for their fixture tomorrow.
