Following recent rulings from Football’s Governing Bodies, a series of 95 changes to the “Laws of the Game” have been introduced.
The Northants FA has produced a handy summary of these changes, as well as links to the underlying documents, which themselves have a set of “FAQ’s” which explain the reasoning behind the changes.
The rule changes range from well publicised revisions, such as the red card rule that applies to penalty decisions, through to more subtle changes such as where a free kick can be taken after an offside decision.
