Since the foundation of AFC Rushden & Diamonds in 2011, the Club has been proud to carry on the tradition of having a Club Chaplain, started at Rushden & Diamonds FC, following initiatives at the original clubs.
Chaplaincy in sport is primarily about offering pastoral care and support to everyone who is part of the Club: players, staff, fans and volunteers.
Because AFC Rushden & Diamonds is large, both in numbers and in the places where we are active, there is now too much for one chaplain to cover; so having a team approach will hopefully be an improvement.
Making up this team are:
- Lead Chaplain: Rev Alan Jenkins
- Zena Gregory
- Chris Gregory
- Doug Palmer
- Bruce Greenberg
- Canon Roger Knight

Details of the approach of this team, and their chaplaincy expectations, can be found in this document – Chaplaincy Expectations
By all means speak to any member of the team but contact Roger Knight first (email@example.com or 01536 669618) for more information or specific requests.
