Following the FA Council decision last night, to ratify the curtailment of the 2020/21 season for steps 3-6 of the National League System, the Club has the following message for season ticket holders.
As everyone is aware this year has been considerably challenging for the AFC Rushden & Diamonds particularly on the financial side, due to the loss of income from matches. However, with the support of our members, supporters and volunteers, we have been able to plot a course through the most difficult of times so far and we thank you for all your support. The majority of our ongoing costs have been covered by a combination of grants from DCMS, East Northamptonshire Council and the Football Foundation for which we are extremely grateful. These grants are not available for us next season which will make things challenging again.
For those who purchased season tickets for the 2020-21 season, these can be rolled over to the 2021-22 season at no additional cost and the league games attended at Hayden Road this season will have been free of charge. Season ticket holders will not have to do anything, this will be processed automatically.
We appreciate that some supporters may want the opportunity to donate the cost of their 2020-21 season ticket to the Club. Should you wish to support the Club in this way, please advise the Club at firstname.lastname@example.org and purchase a new 2021-22 season ticket when they go on sale and your 2020-21 season ticket will then be treated as a generous donation.
The club also understands that many supporters have been adversely financially impacted during the pandemic. Therefore, if any season ticket holder wishes to receive a full refund for their 2020-21 season ticket please email the Club, no later than April 30th 2021, at email@example.com.
Any unused tickets in 6 or 4 packs will remain valid for the 2021-22 season so, if this applies to you, please keep these in a safe place for the new season.
Once again, the Club would like to thank you all for your fantastic support. We all cannot wait to be back at Hayden Road as soon as we can.
