AFC Rushden & Diamonds are looking for a number of volunteers and/or paid staff across the whole club, details are listed below.

Whether you are seeking to enhance your own skills or looking to volunteer for a local community organisation there will be a position for you to make a difference and help the club move forward.

Community Team Coaches – The club has a range of Community Teams and additional coaches are always welcome. Subject to DBS clearance the Club can assist with the cost of the Level 1 coaching course, which is mandatory for all coaches. A specific requirement is for Disability Team Coaches – see here.

First Aiders – Do you hold a current first aid certificate?, would you be interested in being on call during a matchday, alternatively if you are interested in being trained as a first aider we can help with the course.

U21 Team Co-Coordinator – One person or two separate volunteers to form part of the backroom staff for the U21s team, organising kit and logistics to keep the team running smoothly.

Ground assistantsTo assist with the repairing of divots at half time and after each fixture on a  voluntary basis.

Stadium clean up operatives – We are looking for volunteers to assist in the cleaning of the stadium after each fixture, the more volunteers the less matches will be required.

Ball Collectors – We urgently need some volunteers to collect the balls on a matchday when they are cleared from the ground.

Assistant Welfare Officer – To assist current welfare officer with tasks including attending some academy and community teams training sessions organizing CRB’s and looking after mascots on matchdays.

Matchday Qualified Stewards – We are seeking a number of qualified stewards to work on a matchday, these positions will be paid and would require the relevant qualifications or the willingness to become qualified. Experience will also be considered.

Matchday Assistant Stewards – We are looking for volunteers to assist paid stewards on a matchday basis, the more volunteers we have the less each one has to do, so please put your name down even if it for a couple of fixtures per season.

Programme Sellers – Volunteers needed to asset the current programme seller around the ground during a matchday.
