Club visits Skylark Ward at Kettering General Hospital

Representatives from AFC Rushden & Diamonds delivered around 70 Easter Eggs donated by supporters to the new children’s ward, Skylark Ward, at Kettering General Hospital on Thursday April 17th.

Club Welfare Officer, Stacey Hawkins was joined by caretaker manager Andy Peaks and player Matt Gearing to deliver the collection of eggs to ward staff, who will distribute them to the youngsters on the ward.

Play Leader, Trish told us “There are lots of children on the ward at present who will appreciate a chocolate surprise to help cheer them up. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed to the collection.”

Everyone at AFC Rushden & Diamonds wishes the youngsters a swift recovery and would like to say a huge thank you to all the supporters who donated so generously to the collection.
