Supporters will be aware of the late postponement of our Dale Roberts Memorial Cup match against Daventry Town FC on Saturday.
Unfortunately, towards the end of last week, one of our players reported to Andy Peaks that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and another reported that he was experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 and awaiting the results of a PCR test. As some of the players had been in close contact with those involved during the week, the Club’s Covid-19 officers, following Government guidelines and FA protocols, decided to postpone the match as a precaution in order to prevent any possible transmission among the squad and supporters.
We would like to thank all our supporters and everyone at Daventry Town FC for their understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience the late postponement inevitably caused. We will discuss with Daventry Town FC the possibility of re-arranging the match and will advise supporters accordingly as soon as we can. Any tickets purchased for the fixture will remain valid should the match be re-arranged but anyone who would like a refund should contact Ticketsource direct on 0333 666 3366.
At present, Tuesday evening’s match at Barton Rovers FC will go ahead as planned but we will advise as soon as we are able to if the situation changes.
