Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the Player of the Month for December 2018 is Alex Collard.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 65 years, having been Rushden’s Family Jewellers for over 70 years.
Alex was presented with his award by Karen Britten prior to the Diamonds home game against Banbury United.
Alex wins the award following his impressive start in the Diamonds defence, coming into the side at short notice at the start of the month for the trip to Leiston.
