AFC Rushden & Diamonds can confirm that midfielder Declan Rogers has joined Wisbech Town. Diamonds Manager Andy Peaks wishes him all the best at Wisbech – Declan recently moved house which made the travelling to Northampton more difficult, with Wisbech a lot closer for him.
Declan had two spells with the club, first joining at the start of 2015, helping the club to win promotion from the UCL at the end of that season. He then rejoined in Autumn 2018, with the Diamonds now two levels higher, and made an immediate impact, scoring several memorable goals on his way to the Player of the Month award in October 2018. In all he appeared 58 times for the club, scoring 15 goals.
