AFC Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce that two players have signed for the club, with their registrations now being confirmed following the paperwork having been signed by all required parties.
Scott Joseph has rejoined the club from AFC Kempston Rovers. Striker Scott is 26 years old, and had joined the Diamonds at the end of March 2014. He scored five goals in 3(2) games for the Diamonds at the end of the 2013/14 campaign before leaving in the close season to rejoin AFC Kempston.
Charlie Butt is a young midfielder / right back aged 19 who has also joined the club. Although most recently signed with Corby Town, he started out with the Peterborough United Academy before moving to Kings Lynn Town, and has also had short spells at Lincoln United and Wisbech Town. Some Diamonds fans may have seen him playing for the Diamonds XI as a triallist in the recent game against Langford FC.
Both players are eligible to be included in the squad for Saturday’s game against Thurnby Nirvana.
