AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been rewarded for Saturday’s victory over Basford United with an away trip to Ashington AFC in the Third Round of the FA Vase.
In the draw for what will be the last regionalised round of the competition, the Diamonds found themselves in the Northern section of the draw and will take the long trip to play “The Colliers” at Woodhorn Lane on Saturday 8th December, with kick-off at 3pm.
Ashington AFC currently play at Step 5 in the Ebac Northern League Division 1 and are currently in 6th position.
