As we move into the final month of the 2016-17 season, the deadline for player movements closed at 5pm on Thursday afternoon (23/3).
Ahead of this deadline there was a chance for Diamonds’ Manager Andy Peaks to make any final adjustments to his squad. The following players have been registered for the club, Centre-Back Edi Appleton rejoins the club and he is joined by fellow centre-back Darren Purse who also has had a short spell on the Diamonds books previously, alongside his role with the Diamonds U18 / MAA squad. Goalkeeper Andy Kemp has also signed having previously been with Stratford Town. Andy Peaks commented on this news “I am very happy with the squad that I have going into the final third of the season, however I have registered three very good players who can give us cover should we need them at this key stage” .
In further squad news, Lewis Wilson has joined St Neots Town.
