Diamonds to host St Andrews FC in the FA Vase Fourth Round

The draw for the Fourth Round Proper of the FA Carlsberg Vase was made at FA Headquarters on Monday morning, and AFC Rushden & Diamonds were drawn to host St Andrews FC. They are from Aylestone, Leicester, and play in the East Midlands Counties League (Step 6) – as do Graham St Prims. You can see the full draw here, as well as other information on the competition, with the Fourth Round due to be played between 32 teams.

The tie is due to be played at the Dog & Duck on Saturday 18th January 2014, with confirmation of this date, and further details to follow once agreed between the two clubs.

The Diamonds reached this stage with a 2-0 victory over Graham St Prims in the Third Round on Saturday – the report on that game is here.

Like the Diamonds, St Andrews started in this season’s competition in the first qualifying round, and this will be their first away tie. Their previous games in the competition have been:
