The draw for the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup was made at FA Headquarters recently, and AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been drawn away at Wellingborough Town, after the Doughboys defeated Fakenham Town in the previous round. This means a return to the Dog & Duck for the Diamonds to play this tie. The tie is due to be played on the weekend of 19th August 2017 – further details will be provided once the necessary arrangements have been made.
