AFC Rushden & Diamonds fan Ellie Lee will be taking part in the London Bridgathon on Sunday 16th September, raising money for Haematology Cancer Care. A six mile walk along London’s Thames, Ellie has been training for several months and would like as many people as possible to support her.
Ellie last completed the Bridgathon in 2016 and would like raise even more for the charity this year. A cause very close to her heart, as Ellie explains “I had leukaemia and got better. It is a horrible cancer and UCLH help the patients and family”. Haematology Cancer Care at University College London Hospitals Foundation Trust has the mission to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education and world-class research.
