The draw for the initial rounds of the 2014-15 FA Cup was made at FA Headquarters on July 4th.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds will enter the FA Cup at the initial stage – the extra-preliminary round -and will host Oxhey Jets. The match is now scheduled for Friday 15th August 2014 with an 8pm kick off to take into account the fact that Wellingborough Town also have a home tie that weekend.
The winner of that tie will then host Bedford Town in the preliminary round, and the winners of that tie will travel to face Hendon in the first qualifying round.
Oxhey Jets play in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, which is a Step 5 League equivalent to the UCL Premier, and they finished in 18th place in that league last season. Oxhey is near Watford, Herts.

The draw for the preliminary rounds of the FA Vase was also made, but the Diamonds have earned an exemption to the Second Round of this competition, following their run to reach the Fourth Round last season.
