Following a poll on AFCDiamonds.com, the winner of the February 2017 Player of the Month award is Tom Lorraine. Tom wins the award for the second month running, following his continued work in leading the line impressively for the club, as well as scoring two of the four goals the club scored in a fairly lean spell that month.
Tom received his award from Club Chairman Ralph Burditt prior to the home game against Leek Town.
The award is sponsored by P.W. House Jewellers of Rushden, who are continuing a long tradition of sponsoring this award, going back many years with R&DFC. Their business has been part of life in Rushden High Street for the last 60 years.
