The NSYL Knock Out Cup game against Northampton ON Chenecks has been switched to Kiln Park and will now be played on Thursday 26th January. The game had originally been scheduled for Monday 23rd January at Chenecks home pitch at Northampton School for Boys, however, it was agreed that a switch would be mutually beneficial for both clubs.
The two sides met at Northampton School for Boys back in September, where Chenecks inflicted the first ever defeat on the Diamonds, running out 4-0 winners. Click HERE for the match report. Chenecks currently sit in second place in the NSYL table, with Rushden just one place and four points behind them. Their strength is clearly in attack, as they boast the two top scorers in the league, with Seb Thompson and Oli Matthews totalling 30 goals between them.
Chenecks play in white shirts, so the Diamonds will wear the yellow and black away strip.
