Fun for all Jam fans! (Saturday 20th January)

Rick Nunley of Rotary club of Rushden has organised a Pop Concert early in the New Year at Rushden Athletic Club, featuring “Jam’d” who are considered to be the number one tribute band to The Jam, the 70s / 80s mod pop sensation that featured Paul Weller. They will be backed up by local group ”Revenant” who will play a set featuring some 60’s and 70’s favourites live on stage.

The venue is the concert room upstairs at the Athletic Club in Newton Road Rushden to whom gratitude is offered to President Dinny & Theresa Brown and Ian Smyth for letting us use their facilities free of charge for this event. A licensed bar will be available.

The proceeds of the event will be split evenly between AFC Rushden & Diamond’s Hayden Road improvement fund and Bansang Hospital Appeal to help provide funding for an audiology unit in area of “The Gambia” that help is needed urgently and is part of Rushden Rotary Club’s ambition to raise the full cost of the equipment needed for this unit in 2017/18.

The date is set for Saturday 20th January 2018, doors open 7-30pm. Tickets, which will include a back up disco in the price, are £15 each available from The Athletic Club,  AFC Rushden & Diamonds website HERE and at the Club Shop on match day, Sidey Design Architecture studio shop on Market Square in Higham Ferrers and on-line from www.wegottickets.com.

We are hoping to see a large crowd there. Tickets are limited to 250 persons, so get yours early!
